How to create Email accounts

Option 1:-

Creating an email account on cPanel is a straightforward process that allows you to have a professional email address using your own domain (e.g., info@yourdomain.com). Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you create a new email account:

Step 1: Log in to cPanel

First, you need to log in to your cPanel account.1 You can typically do this by navigating to yourdomain.com/cpanel and entering your username and password.

Step 2: Navigate to the “Email Accounts” section

Once you are in the cPanel dashboard, scroll down to the Email section.2 You will find several icons here, including “Email Accounts,” “Forwarders,” “Autoresponders,” and “Spam Filters.” Click on Email Accounts.

Step 3: Click “Create”

On the Email Accounts page, you will see a list of any existing email accounts.3 To create a new one, click the + Create button.

Step 4: Fill in the Account Details

You will now be taken to a new page to set up your email account. Here’s what you need to fill in:

  • Domain: If you have multiple domains on your cPanel account, use the dropdown menu to select the one you want to use for this email address.
  • Username: Enter the name for your email address (e.g., contact, support, or your own name).4 The full email address will be username@yourdomain.com.
  • Password: You can either type in a strong password manually or click the Generate button to create a secure, random password.5 It’s highly recommended to use a strong password to protect your account. Be sure to save this password in a secure location.
  • Optional Settings: Click on the “Edit Settings” or “Optional Settings” link to customize a few extra options, such as:
    • Storage Space: You can set a specific storage limit for this email account (e.g., 250 MB) or set it to “Unlimited.”6
    • Send Welcome Email: This option, often checked by default, sends an email to the new account with instructions on how to set it up in various email clients (like Outlook or an iPhone).

Step 5: Click “Create”

Once you have filled in all the details, click the + Create button at the bottom of the page.7 cPanel will now create the new email account for you.

How to Access Your New Email Account

After creating the account, you can access your email in a few ways:

  1. Webmail: The easiest way to check your email is through webmail.8 You can access it by going to yourdomain.com/webmail in your browser and logging in with the full email address and password you just created.
  2. Email Client: To use an email client like Outlook, Thunderbird, or the Mail app on your phone, you’ll need the configuration settings. On the Email Accounts page, click Connect Devices next to the email account you just created. cPanel will provide you with the manual settings (IMAP/POP3, incoming/outgoing servers, ports) and even offer automatic configuration scripts for some popular clients.

Option 2:-

  1. Go to cPanel.

2. Click on Email Accounts.

3. Click on +Create.

4. Enter your email and password.

5. click on +Create.
