How Can We Help?
How to Enable/Disable AutoSSL for Specific Users from WHM Panel
To enable or disable AutoSSL for a specific user, you’ll use the Manage AutoSSL interface in WHM. This allows you to override the default server-wide settings for individual accounts.
How to Manage AutoSSL for Individual Users
- Log in to WHM as the
root
user. - In the WHM search bar on the left, type “Manage AutoSSL” and click the corresponding link under the SSL/TLS section.
- Click the Manage Users tab. This page lists all the cPanel accounts on your server and their current AutoSSL status.
- Locate the specific user account you wish to manage. You can use the search box to find the user quickly.
- In the “Toggle AutoSSL” column for that user, you will see a dropdown menu. Select your desired option:
- Enable AutoSSL: This will turn on AutoSSL for the user’s domains, even if it’s disabled for other users on the server.
- Disable AutoSSL: This will prevent AutoSSL from issuing certificates for the user’s domains.
- Reset to Feature List Setting: This will revert the user’s AutoSSL status to the default setting defined in their assigned package.
- Click the Apply button to save the changes.
After you apply the changes, AutoSSL will either be enabled or disabled for that user’s account, and you can view the status in the same table.
